A mother’s love for her child is universal. The world over all, mothers want the same things for their children. Or do they? If I were to ask you, what are your hopes and dreams for your child, I am pretty certain I would get similar responses. Fulfilling lives, joy, happiness, to love and be loved, healthy minds and bodies, success in school and career.
Mother’s Day is a chance for children everywhere to acknowledge their mother’s love and sacrifices. We are privileged to have the opportunity to give flowers, chocolates or some favorite treat. In the developing world children will have no such opportunities to acknowledge their mothers. Most are already working to supplement the family income, sharing the burden of heavy chores and working in fields or factories instead of attending school. The way these children can best honor their mothers is to gain access to the education that so many are denied and do their best. Their ticket to a better life is education.
This year as we honor our mothers, we also honor the time our mothers have dedicated to preparing our students for success. We know that, like all of us at SST-Excellence, you are committed to your child's education. This commitment is evident in all that he/she achieves daily. We thank you and wish you a happy mother's day
Best, Mehmet Okumus, Principal

A Message from the Principal
Cinco De Mayo Program, Here at SST- Excellence we desire to educate our student body in the beauty of diversity. We seek for each of our students, staff, and faculty members to practice inclusivity, tolerance and acceptance for all cultures, traditions and ethnic or national backgrounds. It is for this reason that we encourage the celebration of holidays like Cinco De Mayo, it is an opportunity to remind them that human beings, no matter how different, are deserving of compassion and understanding. I would like to thank all the parents and teachers who worked so diligently to create this program.

Whole Kids Foundation.
This year SST- Excellence partnered with the whole kids foundation in order to grow a campus vegetable garden. Through this partnership our students have been able to apply knowledge and principles to real life situations, while also becoming inspired to incorporate more fruits, vegetables and whole grains into their diets.
Take a look at this quick video, and see how our students use our campus vegetable garden to approach both science and mathematics!
Family Science Night
Kids love to share what they are learning in science with their parents, and they love making new discoveries with their families. Because of this we felt inspired to host a family science night ,to encourage kids and their families to do hands-on science together. We enjoyed hands-on science stations with our parents and teachers to explore the magic of science using everyday products. Take a look!
