STAAR Accommodations

During state assessments for STAAR, certain accessibility features and accommodation resources may be provided to students based on their needs. In general, these procedures and materials are available to any student who regularly benefits from the use of them during instruction. Come join us for an in depth review of the accommodations approved for use with STAAR. This training will also specifically address what accessibility features and designated supports are allowable for students receiving Section 504 and special education services.

Early Childhood Parent Toolkit

Join us as we explore the NEW ESC-20 Early Childhood Parent Plus+ Toolkit! Parent Plus + is an engaging set of activities for parents to use in playful learning with their preschool aged children. This training will train PARENTS to become actively involved in learning how to enhance student engagement with playful learning activities in the home setting. The kit includes activities aligned with the Pre-Kindergarten Guideline standards in math, reading, writing, and language development.

Fall Festival

Fun is on its way! November the 14th from 4-6:30pm, we will be holding our annual fall festival. There will be games, and food for everyone. We will be selling presales from November 5th-9th.
A wrist band will get students on all of the rides. Wrist bands will be sold for $15 if bought between the 5th – 9th of November, and $20 after those dates. Individual tickets will be 30 for $20 if purchased between the 5th - 9th, and will be a $1 a piece if purchased after those dates.
Parents must come inside to purchase the wrist bands and tickets from the front office staff. Please do not send the payments with the students.

Festival Donation Request:
Pre k– Bag of tortilla chips, napkins, and paper plates
Kindergarten– Chips (Individually wrapped) and face paint
1st– Little Debbie Cakes, cupcakes, and silverware
2nd– Juice (individually packaged) and candy (individually wrapped)
3rd– Queso (nacho cheese), candy (Individually wrapped), and cupcakes
4th– Soda cans, ketchup, mustard, and face paint
5th– Candy (individually wrapped), hot dogs buns, chips (fun size individually wrapped)
6th– Water (Individuals), pickles, and individually packed juice.

Character Traits

SST Excellence applied to be a School of Character. These approaches promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and ethical development of young people and share a commitment to helping them become responsible, caring, and contributing citizens. Each month we will focus one of the "Character Traits". We like parents to participate and community member who can donate their time to join our meetings to create an environment that helps students academically and also molds each one into successful citizens.
